To work, the AIO has an air pocket at the top of the tank when the system is on. As the water moves through the air pocket, iron and sulfur are oxidized. At the same time, dissolved oxygen is added to the water. A media bed is used to successfully remove sulfur and iron from your water.

A Closer Look at Our Iron Removal Solutions

At McIntyre's Soft Water Services, we know our iron removal systems work. We want you to have confidence in them as well. That's why we'd love to tell you more about how they work and what they can do for you.

AIO systems can remove up to 8 ppm of hydrogen sulfide and up to 7 ppm of iron. To remove the iron that accumulates, there is a daily backwash that also replenishes the filter media bed. This is coupled with a regeneration process that adds a fresh air pocket to the system to start the process all over again.

To get this done, the AIO system has either a Fleck 2510 SXT or 5600 SXT air injection control head. This automatically backwashes the system to remove things down the drain and refresh the media.

The AIO system from McIntyre's Soft Water Services has a patented piston in the control valve. This makes it possible to keep the oxidation process inside one tank. As a result, maintenance costs are low and downtime is a minimum.

Your system will also be equipped with a 3/4-inch bypass valve, a structural mineral tank, all necessary media, and a support bed for individual applications.
